After over a decade of efforts to approve and fund the Center for Science and Mathematics, the new $132 million project is underway! Encompassing 197,849 GSF in the center of the campus, the 6-story, Type 1B-Fire Resistive Science building includes:

• Instructional and research facilities for Chemistry and Biochemistry, Physics and Soil Science
• University classrooms
• The Environmental Biotechnology Institute
• The Western Coatings Technology Center
• Student spaces
• Faculty offices and administrative spaces

O'Connor is serving as the construction manager on-site, working closely with the University's Project Manager. The project is using CM at Risk delivery and will be complete in 2013.
