Project Description:
The Educational Cultural Complex is a unique 52,600 SF campus serving the collegiate, cultural, continuing education, and career/technical training needs of the community. Funded by Proposition S, the new Skills Center is an addition to the existing building. The Skills Center addition will be used to expand the College's auto repair program. Structures are made up of concrete, steel, and masonry and the facility consists of: 3 1-story buildings, 3 auto repair canopies, and parking facilities. Classrooms will be used for auto body and auto tech repair, auto upholstery, electronic assembly, a Cisco computer lab, business information technology, graphics, and appliance repair. The project will be one of the few educational projects in the state to meet LEED Gold standards.
