Project Description:
O'Connor was selected by the University to provide construction management services for its newest classroom/office building project. The 4-story facility houses programs for the Social and Behavioral Sciences, including lecture classrooms, computer, anthropology and G.I.S. labs, a small rodent facility, and over 100 offices with administration space. Included in the 106,509 SF building are programs for psychology, sociology, communication/mass media, economics, political science, anthropology, liberal studies, and human development. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to assist the growing campus with increasing enrollment demands. The state-of-the-art Social and Behavioral Sciences facility, completed in 2011, is designed to achieve a LEED Silver accreditation.
