Project Description:
O'Connor was selected by the University to provide construction management services for its newest classroom/office building project. The 4-story facility houses programs for the Social and Behavioral Sciences, including lecture classrooms, computer, anthropology and G.I.S. labs, a small rodent facility, and over 100 offices with administration space. Included in the 106,509 SF building are programs for psychology, sociology, communication/mass media, economics, political science, anthropology, liberal studies, and human development. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to assist the growing campus with increasing enrollment demands that are expected to reach 8,000 by 2010. The University is seeking LEED Silver certification for this project.
