Project Description:

The 717 Olympic is an 180,000 SF, 156 luxury apartment building with the following amenities:

• Internet café and coffee bar
• Screening room
• Gourmet kitchen
• Aqua lounge
• Fitness center
• Resort-style pool and helipad
• 7,000 SF of retail space
• 700 SF street-level outdoor patio

O'Connor was contracted by the developer to review a $1.5 million change order that was submitted by the T.I. contractor. Following a thorough review of the contractor's change order request, we identified significant discrepancies in quantities, pricing, and methodology. Based on our recommendations, the Owner was able to settle the change order for only $600,000.
