Project Description:

O'Connor is providing the City with scheduling reviews, phasing plans as well as change order review services for this advanced water purification facility which will deliver non-potable drinking water to residents and reduce dependence on the Colorado River. Cost and resource loaded schedules provided for this project are prepared using Primavera’s latest scheduling platform, P6.

A large portion of the secondary effluent from the City's existing water pollution control facility will be used to produce high quality, treated water. The treated water will be used for many beneficial uses including irrigation, injection into the groundwater basin to form a barrier to seawater intrusion, as well other industrial uses. The new facility sits on a 4.3 acre site with a portion of that area dedicated to a visitor’s center/administration building, a conference center.
