Project Description:

O'Connor was selected to complete an independent cost estimate for the GSA on the modernization and expansion of the Mariposa Land Port of Entry. Originally constructed in 1973, the expansion assists in achieving long-term growth and will accommodate traffic increases into 2020.

The scope calls for a detailed phasing plan allowing for ongoing Port operations with as little impact to traffic flow and security as possible. This approach calls for a complex sequencing of utility infrastructure installations requiring varying escalation factors to be applied at different phases of the project. Modular buildings will also be brought in to house operations during construction.
