Project Description:

This Land Port of Entry is part of the GSA "Port of the Future" program. Donna is located in Hidalgo County, TX, approximately 10 miles from another O'Connor-managed LPOE in McAllen, TX. This 6,000-acre project won a GSA Design Award in 2008 and is the first international bridge project that incorporated a development plan on both sides of the border. The bridge structure will only be 1,000 feet in total length allowing for rapid and efficient crossing of vehicles.

The new, LEED Silver facility includes:

• Administration building
• Non-commercial inspection facilities
• Head house
• Kennel
• Site work and paving
• 92 automobile parking spaces
