Project Description:

O'Connor was selected as the Project Manager for the renovation/seismic retrofit and addition of the City's historic Firehouse Station. The project is designed to meet the City's sustainability goals. Built in 1929, Fire Station One was constructed with bricks from Pleasanton’s Remillard Brick foundry. The conversion and addition of the existing firehouse into a 2-story, 20,000 SF Arts Center, includes the following program components:

  • Theater with flexible seating for 240
  • 2,000 SF Art gallery
  • 2 Art classrooms
  • 1,350 SF Grand lobby
  • Offices
  • Outside reception area
  • Firehouse gardens
  • Parking lot
