Lease Requirements Packages VA Northern California Healthcare System

Client
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in a unique role for leasing acquisition

OCMI was awarded a five-year contract with the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 21. The Network serves veterans in northern and central California, Nevada, Hawaii, the Philippines, and U.S. Territories in the Pacific Basin. This contract assists the seven healthcare systems within the VISN, to plan and develop lease acquisition packages on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

OCMI started the award by coordinating lease contract renewals for northern California and San Francisco lease offices. We are collaborating with the SFHCS and NCHCS healthcare system planners and engineers to develop Agency Specific Requirements (ASR) packages for lease acquisitions, including lease extensions, lease expansions, newly leased space, and/or leased new construction to deliver a complete Requested Lease Acquisition (RLP). OCMI is also working closely with contracting to develop a new lease renewal guidelines manual and terms for the VA to standardize the lease renewal process. As part of that collaboration, OCMI engages in project management, project development, facilitate meetings and communication with key stakeholders, and ensures all tasks/actions required for lease acquisition packages are accomplished in an accurate and timely manner to enable the healthcare systems within the VISN to maintain lease contract coverage for its leased properties.
