Q: Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
A: I’ve always been interested in how infrastructure and buildings come together, especially the technical systems that make them function. With a background in engineering and project implementation, cost estimating felt like a natural fit because it combines technical understanding with strategic decision making. I enjoy translating design concepts into real-world costs and helping teams plan projects responsibly and efficiently.
Q: How has your role evolved since you joined the team?
A: Since joining, my role has expanded from supporting individual estimates to taking on more ownership in coordination, development, and client-facing work. I’ve gained broader exposure to different project types and delivery stages, and I now contribute more actively to broader tasks.
Q: Are there any certifications or training programs you’re currently working towards?
A: I’m continuously building my knowledge through professional development in cost engineering and other management related practices. I stay engaged with training related to estimating tools, methodologies, and industry standards, and I’m planning to pursue additional certifications that strengthen both technical estimating and project delivery expertise.
Q: What brought you to the city/town where our office is located?
A: The opportunity to grow professionally and work on impactful projects was the main reason I relocated. This area offers access to a strong professional network, meaningful infrastructure, and other attributes that align well with my long-term career goals.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy spending time on personal technical projects, learning about how things work and investment strategies, and staying active with family and friends. I also like exploring new ideas and tools that improve productivity and personal growth.
