Working to Create Efficiency in County Occupied Building

The OCMI team is representing the County of San Diego as construction managers on a full-scale major system renovation project at the Hall of Justice (HOJ) high-rise building located in Downtown San Diego. When complete, all major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire systems and vertical transportation will be upgraded in a multi – phase project in an occupied building. OCMI will oversee the design, bidding and construction of this multi-year project estimated at over $65m involving extensive design requirements and challenges within a high profile facility with multiple tenants.

OCMI’s construction manager has been managing this project from the project’s inception. Our work on the project began with putting together a spending plan and scope of work for planning purposes. We led a comprehensive building analysis and findings report with the facilities condition assessment. The facilities condition assessment was performed by Syska Hennessey and presented to project stakeholders where it was approved for multi-year funding.
