In 2023, CSU San Marcos awarded OCMI a contract to provide as-needed project management and engineering services for various construction projects on campus, with the goal of ensuring projects are positioned for optimal success through comprehensive maintenance of budgets, schedule, and quality. Our responsibilities have included document control, drawing take-offs, trade coordination, sequencing, estimating, cost review, and project communication. To date, OCMI has been awarded three project support task orders, including the Integrated Science and Engineering Building (IS&E).

In delivering the IS&E project, OCMI’s on-site project managers are responsible for overall management, oversight, and direction of the design and construction process, including ongoing document control, document review, team meeting facilitation, field observations, and deliverable development. Our team also provides budget review and cost estimating services as needed.
When complete, the new IS&E will promote the integration of interdisciplinary and complementary programs in the sciences and engineering. The facility will include teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, offices, gathering spaces, and building support.
