Cost Estimating Airside and Landside Improvements

OCMI has been a trusted partner to the Clark County Department of Aviation, supporting a wide range of projects at Harry Reid International Airport and other county-owned airport properties. Our work includes airside and landside improvements as part of CCDOA’s ongoing development initiatives.

We have provided cost management on tenant improvements, including food and beverage upgrades, restroom renovations, TSA lighting installations, smoking lounges, and the rebranding of monument signage during the airport’s transition from McCarran to Harry Reid. Our scope covers infrastructure and architectural improvements such as building envelope and roofing upgrades, structural and curtain wall replacements, and hazardous materials abatement.

Off-site, we have supported demolition and redevelopment efforts on airport-owned properties. Notable large-scale projects include a new maintenance facility, an office building, and a multi-level parking garage. Our scheduling team has collaborated with project teams to determine project phasing and develop and review schedules for projects with complex logistical requirements, aiming to minimize operational disruptions for challenging efforts like the D Gates curtain wall replacement.

Our deep understanding of CCDOA’s standards, contractor pool, security protocols, and cost drivers enables us to offer customized, effective solutions. We collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to CCDOA’s processes and preferences. Our team is also involved in renovating the control tower at Henderson Executive Airport, further showcasing our versatility and trusted presence in the aviation sector.
