Breaking Ground on the Future of STEM at CSUSM

OCMI joined California State University San Marcos to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Integrated Science and Engineering (IS&E) Building, a major milestone in advancing STEM education on the campus.

Adjacent to Markstein Hall, OCMI’s first CSUSM project delivered in 2006, this 70,000 SF state-of-the-art facility will feature modern teaching and research laboratories, student support areas, faculty offices, a café, and outdoor gathering spaces.

As the Preconstruction and Project Management partner, OCMI’s on-site project managers, Jim Cleaton and Matthew Lulling, oversee the design and construction process, ensuring the IS&E Building is delivered on schedule and within budget.

OCMI is honored to help CSUSM grow its campus and create opportunities for the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
