O’Connor Construction Management is Working With the San Juan Library District in Friday Harbor, WA

O’Connor Construction Management was hired by the San Juan Island Library District to coordinate the implementation and execution of their new library in Friday Harbor, WA. In the capacity as owner’s representative, we are working with the Library Board to identify a project site, facilitate environmental testing, and receive the necessary local jurisdictional permit approvals to proceed with architectural design and general construction services.

The goal of the new Library is to increase service spaces and reflect the modern and future needs of the community. The existing Library built in 1970, was renovated and expanded from 1988 through 2004. The library offers a wide range of services for approximately 7,800 island residents.
